How to protect your personal and business account information from fraud scams.

Unfortunately, during times of uncertainty and economic challenges, fraudsters often take advantage of fear. The most common types of scams will target you through fake emails, text messages, calls, and letters. We have seen a recent increase in spam marketing attempts where companies are targeting our clients falsely presenting an affiliation with the Bank. It is important for you to know that the Bank does not share our client information. We want to remind you that we will never call you in advance of a fraud transaction alert. We will also not ask you to provide your debit card number, your PIN or your online banking user ID or password over the phone. If you receive an email, call or a text message appearing to be from Cambridge Trust or a company claiming affiliation with Cambridge Trust, but are unsure if it truly is us, please feel free to end the call and contact our Client Resource Center Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm at (617) 441-1444 or (844) 251-0099.
